In light of the excitement regarding the first evidence of stochastic gravitational background (SGWB) detection in Pulsar Timing Array (PTA) experiments, we are organizing an online workshop on this topics: Ideas on first evidence on Stochastic GW from PTA https://sites.google.com/view/nanograv-epta-workshop-july-23/home <https://sites.google.com/view/nanograv-epta-workshop-july-23/home>

On July 14 (Friday) we will start at 2 pm CEST/5.30 pm IST with Andrea Mitigate (DESY) introducing PTA and supermassive black hole binary (SMBHB) mergers (~ 1 hour), and then we will pass on to a series of small talks (~ 20m each) about possible cosmological and astrophysical explanations of the detection. Finally we will end with a panel discussion session discussing some of the raised and open questions on the topics.

In particular, we are extremely happy to have Takahiro Terada, Marek Lewicki, Juan Urrutia, Graham White, Debika Chowdhury, and Soubhik Kumar.
