Research Seminar with Joanne Kuai on AI in Journalism
Dear Colleagues: We will be hosting Joanne Kuai, a PhD researcher focusing on AI and algorithm studies, on Friday, 2nd Feb. She is very enthusiastic about engaging in discussions with peers. She will have a seminar with us for around one hour, presenting on the topic "Journalism as an Institution in the Age of Artificial Intelligence, the Case of China and Beyond" and discussing recent studies on algorithmic news and AI adoption in the media industry. It will be a valuable opportunity for idea sharing, especially as many of us in the MEP and NUSE units are conducting relevant studies. I invite you to join this seminar if you are interested. Both online and offline participation are welcome, and I look forward to seeing you then.
