After an hopefully pleasant and refreshing summer break for all of you, we now find ourselves on the verge of a new academic year.

For our first getting together, I would like to propose the following:

- some updates form SMIT - a short update from each of you: what are you up to in the coming months, what will you be working on, where are you at with your research or teaching? - a short presentation of Antonis on a potential research proposal - a first in a series we would like to share with the whole unit - discussing who's papers we will read in the next meetings - drinks
