You can include a reference to D2.1 on page 8, as I believe this deliverable is essentially the questions that were agreed in that meeting, no?
For the missing info on page 10, in that second meeting we discussed:
* The structure of D2.4
* The key findings from the interviews - as they were being written up on D2.2
* Working assumptions for D2.4 (legislative, geographical and sectoral scope of the materials) with reference to the project's description of action.
* Requirements for the training materials.
* Defined and agreed what would be the key topics for training materials, based upon the results of the analysis of the interviews and existing training materials (you can take the list from D2.4)
* Discussed pending issues around language, translation, accessibility of training materials, and the types of training materials that would be developed.

Apart from 2 management-oriented deliverables (D1.3 First coordination meeting in M8 (end of this month) and D1.1 Progress report in M13) the next step is the preparation of the draft training materials for DPAs and DPOs by M16 (February 2019).
According to the GA the following categories have to be covered:
* Development of Training Material for use by DPAs
* Development of training scenarios
* DPA personnel,
* DPOs,
* judges and other lawyers,
* civil servants,
* private sector.
* Development of the Training Materials for the training of DPA personnel
* Development of the Training Materials for the training of DPOs
* Development of the Training Materials for the training of judges and lawyers
* Development of the Training Materials for the training of civil servants and public sector employees
* Development of the Training Materials for the training of the private sector
* Development of training material for use by DPOs
* Development of training scenarios
* Development of the Training Materials to be used in the public sector
* Development of the Training Materials to be used in the private sector
Even though repetitions and overlaps among different categories and training materials are possible, the number of sector-specific materials to be developed is quite large. The development will begin in July with the elaboration on the general topics (cf D2.4) and between September and January the materials can be modified according to the needs of the specific sector.
That being said, a CPDP panel has been submitted in which key stakeholders’ and the project partners’ representatives will discuss the project-related topics. The conference would be a good opportunity to disseminate the new materials and to engage the audience (DPAs, DPOs, etc) for the validation activities, starting in March 2019 (webinars, questionnaires, workshops). CPDP is preferred over ICDPPC due to dates. January 2019 feels a more achievable deadline for preparing the materials than October 2018.
@NAIH @TRI – do you know any other occasions where the initial materials could be tested/discussed? Júlia mentioned the Hungarian dpo day which takes place around December. If so, it could be a valid target as well.

Finally, the PO of STAR I-II showed signs of life. Today she called me and
sent the following message in the Participant Portal (you can read it if you
log in):
"Start date of the implementation period
Dear Mr Kulitsán,
As explained on the phone earlier today, all data introduced in the
Participant Portal for the preparation of the grant agreement are fine and
we are ready to launch the procedure for the signature of the grant
agreement. The project implementation start date indicated in the
Participant Portal is 1 June 2018 but I understand that you have not started
any project activities yet. Therefore before launching the signature process
I would appreciate if you could confirm the start date to be indicated in
the grant agreement (which will also correspond to the first day of
eligibility of costs). You may choose a date that is most convenient for the
implementation of the project regardless of the theoretical dates indicated
in the Participant Portal. (Please keep in mind holiday seasons that could
interfere with key activities of the project.)

According to the timeline in the PP the deadline for signing the grant
agreement is 27 October 2018, but I think we should not wait until then.
Considering the message and the fact that we definitely should avoid
overlaps with deadlines for submission of deliverables in STAR I, I hereby
would like to ask you whether you have any suggestions or preferred date to
start STAR II?

Would you have any feedback to share formally or unformally regarding the EU STAR Project, related to suporting training staff on the GDPR ?
We would like to invite DPAs sharing about ongoing training initiatives including education staff and administrators related to the new GDPR regulations to be fullfilled in the schools and at the level of the Mintries in Education or Youth also.
In France, we are in an advanced phase to produce and deliver training paths for education staff in relation to GDPR in close cooperation with the Ministry of Education, indluding tailor-made DPOs in that educational fIeld.

Hi all,
We have an option with D4.2, and I would like your perspective before I commit us to anything -
One of the materials we said we might deliver was a "training handbook"
I had assumed this would be a short GDPR handbook/quick reference for use in the training, that trainees could take away with them.
It occurs to us that instead, we could produce a "training handbook" for trainers - in which we would put
* guidance on delivering GDPR training
* common challenges
* approaches
* ways to best use the STAR materials
We could also update this with our observations from the pilot exercises and other experience gained in the project - this way we can make that knowledge useful to practitioners.
What do you think?
If you can tell me "Yes, lets do that" or "no, stick with the intro handbook" in the next couple of hours, I'll add it into D4.2 and we can then circulate that for review today.
