thanks for your mail, but i again disagree, and that is for at least 3 points:
1. you’re required to do so by the virtue of the GA. i re-send FYI the screenshot of relevant provisions. 2. you’re required to do so by the virtue of the CA too. cf. the other screenshot attached. 3. whenever any other our action grant was reviewed, and most recently PHAEDRA II, TRI has duly submitted all documentation, incl. time-sheets and payslips, which we transmitted to the EC. (so did other partners.) TRI has never before raised any objection to that. (as any other partner.) i don’t need to assure you these docs are kept secret here at VUB because you know that very well. (i cannot guarantee anything about the EC, but i can vouch for ourselves.)
i understand this might be annoying and not a standard practice. however, i’m sure you recall we have agreed in Budapest to undergo this procedure. here at VUB we tried to make this as easy as possible, thus the reporting is only quarterly (and not monthly) and we don’t calculate each payment on the basis of actual costs incurred (but rather a simple fraction 3/24 of the share due, every 3 months).
thus we’re looking forward to receiving your time-sheets and payslips shortly.

Hi, Darek, Istvan, Julia, et al.,
As previously mentioned, we are not willing to send payslips to the project co-ordinator. This would be an intrusion upon the privacy of our employees. Even if it were not, we would need to get the informed consent of every employee to release such personal data. In any event, in the more than 40 projects in which Trilateral has been a partner or a co-ordinator, we have never had to supply the payslips of employees to the project co-ordinator.
We are willing and happy to supply the same sort of project reporting as is typical in all other projects.
